FEATURED PROJECTS
Joined the Home Office Border Agency as a Senior Consultant and led the project end-to-end, from architecture and build through to integration and completion.
Delivered a complete bespoke solution built around CQRS, React and Spring Boot, providing a modern, maintainable platform for border processing.
Developed a seamless integration between Alfresco and Keycloak, which proved robust and valuable enough that it was adopted through Zaizi into the official Alfresco library.
Joined Amelco as a Senior Consultant through Manya Technologies Ltd, while the business was still running on a bespoke, legacy multi-threaded application, where even minor fixes could take days to resolve and deploy.
Rather than a full rebuild, introduced modern technologies to build a new interface layer and backend for an APAC-region solution — architecting and designing it so a partner company in Asia could implement it, as part of a multi-million dollar deal Amelco had secured in the region.
A genuinely challenging engagement: applied a similar architectural approach to the one developed at the Ministry of Justice, working across source and destination servers and building a complete CI/CD pipeline.
Delivered using Java/J2EE and React, with an Adobe front end and a highly secured PostgreSQL database — built on a Microservices architecture with RabbitMQ messaging, and multi-threaded processing using the Akka framework.
A multi-phase modernisation of Court and Council case data services for the Ministry of Justice, delivered as a Personal Service Company contractor (Manya Technologies Ltd) across two engagements.
Triad — End-to-end architecture, design and implementation of a Microservices platform (MongoDB, React) with daily Court and Council data integration, backed by production support under full government compliance. Played a pivotal role on this multi-million pound programme, acting as the single point of contact for the technical solution. Delivered a complete test solution covering multiple case scenarios, including a mock server built as a proof of concept so courts could explore the new system without integrating with live services — also used as a training and practice environment for court staff. Built the CI/CD pipeline in Jenkins, with Selenium for UI testing and Axios for backend testing, as part of the wider SDLC. Off the back of this proof of concept, Triad went on to win a further multi-million pound engagement, delivered on a notably lean budget.
Scrumconnect — Joined Scrumconnect specifically for this engagement as a Senior Consultant, brought in to provide a bespoke solution when the programme needed strong senior expertise. Shaped the backend around CQRS and an orchestration process (Java, J2EE, Spring, React, MongoDB), with complete CI/CD and automation testing, delivered under Agile Scrum and later Kanban — including production deployment support and regular demos to the Head of Engineering and Judges. This work helped Scrumconnect establish a firm foothold on the account and lift delivery standards, building the goodwill that went on to win further multi-million pound programmes.
Engaged throughout at a senior consulting level, shaping technical direction across both phases of delivery.
Joined as Senior Consultant to develop and maintain a Fleet Management System, paving the way to modernise the application to a complete enterprise-level platform.
Built a bespoke CI/CD pipeline and a complete integration solution, working as part of the wider technical team with regular demos to the Head of Engineering — and built a strong working relationship with the Team Lead along the way.
